Cancer screening attendance in Czechia
(2009 – 2017)
Presented map application shows regional differences in breast and cervical screening attendance among Czech women. Although free population-based cancer screenings have been available for all women since 2002 (breast cancer screening) and 2008 (cervical cancer screening), only about half of Czech women attend the screenings. The attendance rates have been standardized (controlled for age structure) and therefore comparable across years and regions.
